Legal information
Terms of Use
These terms govern the use of the Cinelude application, the complete studio for video creators. They apply to everyone who holds an account in it: client, member of their team or guest.
This English version is provided for information only. In the event of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.

01Purpose and Acceptance
These terms of use (the “Terms”) set out the rules for accessing and using the Cinelude application, published by Entresonge. They apply to anyone who uses it, whatever their role.
Activating an account, and then each sign-in, constitutes acceptance of the Terms in force. Subscribing to a paid offer is also governed by the terms of sale (the “Sales Terms”), which prevail in the event of any conflict between the two.
02Definitions
- “Application” or “Service”: the Cinelude service available at app.cinelude.com, together with its desktop and mobile applications where these are provided.
- “Workspace”: a client’s working environment, which brings together its accounts, its projects and its content, isolated from those of other clients.
- “User”: anyone who holds an account in a Workspace. “Guest”: a User who only has access to the documents shared with them.
- “Customer”: the business customer that has subscribed to an offer and for which the Workspace is opened.
- “User Content”: the texts, notes, files, images, sounds, videos, books, settings and other items that a User uploads to or creates in the Application.
- “Outputs”: the analyses, summaries, rankings, suggestions and proposed texts, titles, shot breakdowns or subtitles that the Application makes available, whether computed automatically or prepared by Entresonge with the help of artificial intelligence systems.
- “Public Sources”: the videos, transcripts, metadata, articles and other publicly accessible information that the Application collects and analyzes for monitoring purposes.
03Access by Invitation
The Application is not open to public sign-up. Accounts are opened by Entresonge for the people designated by the Customer. Within a Workspace, authorized people can then invite members from the Team page, or share a folder or a document with a person identified by their email address.
The invited person receives a personal link by email, valid for seven days and usable once, which allows them to complete their profile, choose their password and activate their account. Where Entresonge issues initial credentials, the User replaces them with a personal password.
A Guest only has access to the folders and documents shared with them, with the rights granted by the person sharing them. They see neither the rest of the Workspace nor other Workspaces.
Entresonge may refuse to open an account, in particular while access is being opened in waves, without having to give reasons for its decision.
04Accounts and Security
Each account is personal. The User provides accurate information, chooses a strong password that they do not use elsewhere and keeps their credentials confidential. The User is responsible for the actions carried out with their account.
Each User can enable two-factor authentication and view or close their open sessions in their account settings. A forgotten password is reported to [email protected].
Any unauthorized use, loss or suspected compromise of an account must be reported to the same address without delay. Entresonge may then suspend access, revoke open sessions and require a password change.
05The Service
Cinelude is a studio for preparing videos. It brings together, among other things, tools for monitoring Public Sources, for analysis and learning, for organization (notes, tasks, calendar, boards), for writing, for editing, for rendering and for preparing publications. Each tool is described in the help pages of the Application.
Some features rely on third-party services that the User chooses to connect, or on a desktop application installed on their own computers. They are available only where those conditions are met.
06Rules of Use
The User undertakes to use the Application fairly and in accordance with the law. In particular, the User must not:
- upload, create or share content that is unlawful, hateful, defamatory, abusive, violent or pornographic, or that infringes the privacy or the rights of others;
- upload a work, a book, a piece of music, an image or a video without holding the necessary rights or permissions;
- reproduce a person’s voice, face or identity without their consent;
- attempt to access an account, a Workspace or data not intended for them;
- disrupt the Service, circumvent its limits or its protections, or introduce malicious software into it;
- systematically extract the data or the Outputs of the Application, by automated means or otherwise, other than through the exports it offers;
- resell access to the Application, make it available to unauthorized third parties or use it to build a competing service.
07User Content
The User, or the Customer on whose behalf the User acts, remains the owner of their Content. They grant Entresonge, for no longer than is necessary, the right to host it, to back it up, to reproduce it and to process it for the sole purpose of providing the Service, including through the automated processing that the User triggers. Entresonge does not use it for other clients and does not publish it.
The User warrants that they hold the rights required over their Content and over any third-party personal data it contains. Entresonge does not review Content in advance. It may remove or block access to content that is manifestly unlawful or reported as such on the terms set out in the legal notice, and informs the User concerned, unless the law requires otherwise.
08Outputs and Artificial Intelligence
Outputs are decision aids. They are produced from Public Sources, from User Content and from analysis methods, sometimes with artificial intelligence systems. They may be incomplete, inaccurate, out of date or close to existing content. The Application does not send User Content to an artificial intelligence service: where a tool prepares a prompt, it is the User who chooses whether or not to submit it to the service of their choice, on their own responsibility.
The creator decides. The User chooses what to keep from an Output, checks it, changes it and takes responsibility for using it. Before publishing, it is for the User in particular to check the facts, the quotations and the sources, to make sure that their content does not take up the work of others beyond what the law allows, and to comply with the rules of the platforms on which they publish, including those platforms’ disclosure rules on content generated or modified by artificial intelligence.
Entresonge claims no rights over the Outputs produced for the User and does not warrant their accuracy, their originality or their exclusivity: a comparable Output may be obtained by others. Where a synthetic voice feature is offered, it is to be used only with voices that the User is entitled to use.
09Monitoring and Third-Party Content
Monitoring covers Public Sources: videos, transcripts, public statistics and metadata, articles and other publicly accessible information. Its purpose is to keep informed, to learn and to prepare one’s own creations. It transfers to the User no right over the works of third parties, which remain the property of their authors.
The User must not republish all or part of those works outside the exceptions provided by law, in particular the short quotation with a credit to the source within the meaning of Article L. 122-5 of the French Intellectual Property Code (“Code de la propriété intellectuelle”).
Monitoring depends on the availability of sources and on their own terms. It is neither exhaustive nor instantaneous: a source may change, become unavailable or withdraw content, and a collection run may be delayed or interrupted. Cinelude is not affiliated with any of the platforms whose content it analyzes.
10Sharing and Guests
The User can share a folder or a document with other people, with read, edit or administration rights, and set an expiry date. The User chooses the people they share with, checks that those people are entitled to access the shared content and can withdraw a share at any time.
The User can also publish a page on the web: it then becomes readable by anyone who has its address, and is offered to search engines only if the User chooses. The User remains responsible for the content they share or publish.
11Connected Third-Party Services
Where the Application offers it and the User connects an account held with a third-party service, for example to schedule a publication, the User authorizes the Application to act on their behalf within the limits they accepted with that service. Nothing is sent without the User’s confirmation. The terms and the privacy policy of the third-party service apply to what is transmitted to it. The User can withdraw that connection at any time.
12Availability and Changes to the Service
Entresonge endeavors to keep the Application available at all times, on a best-efforts basis and without any guarantee of result. Access may be suspended or limited, in particular for maintenance, an update, a technical incident, the failure of a supplier or an event of force majeure. The Application evolves: features may be added, changed or removed, subject to the commitments made to Customers in the Sales Terms.
13Backups, Exports and the Trash
The data in the Application is backed up every night. The User has exports in open formats, document by document or for their whole Workspace, and a Trash that keeps deleted items for thirty days before they are erased. These arrangements do not replace the User’s own backups: the User keeps the original files they upload, in particular their rushes and their media.
14Suspension and Closure of an Account
Entresonge may suspend an account, without notice, in the event of a breach of the Terms, of a risk to the security of the Service or of other Users, or at the request of an authority. It informs the User and, where applicable, the Customer, stating the reason, unless the law or security considerations prevent this. In the event of a serious or repeated breach, the account may be closed.
An account also ends with the Customer’s Contract, or when the person in charge of the Workspace withdraws the User’s access. The User can ask for their account to be closed at [email protected]. What becomes of content at the end of a Contract is set out in the Sales Terms.
15Intellectual Property
The Application, its software, interfaces, texts, databases, classification methods and graphic elements, together with the Cinelude name and logo, belong to Entresonge. The Terms grant only a personal, non-exclusive right of use, for the duration of the access. Any unauthorized reproduction, adaptation or extraction is prohibited.
16Liability
The User is solely responsible for their Content, for what they share, for the editorial choices they make from the Outputs and for what they publish. The User indemnifies Entresonge against any third-party claim arising from a use of the Application that breaches the Terms.
Entresonge answers for its own breaches on the terms provided by law and, for Customers, by the Sales Terms. It is not liable for indirect damage, for Public Sources and their accuracy, or for third-party services connected by the User. These limitations do not apply in the event of gross negligence or willful misconduct, nor to liabilities that the law prohibits limiting.
17Personal Data
Users’ personal data is processed as set out in the privacy policy, which also describes the cookies used by the Application.
18Changes to the Terms
Entresonge may change the Terms, in particular to follow changes in the Service or in regulation. Users are informed of any significant change before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Application after that date constitutes acceptance; a User who does not accept the change stops using the Application.
19Governing Law and Disputes
The Terms are governed by French law. They are drafted in French; in the event of any discrepancy with a translation, the French version prevails.
If a difficulty arises, the User first contacts Entresonge at [email protected] to seek an amicable solution. Failing agreement, the dispute falls to the courts having jurisdiction under the ordinary rules of law, subject, between businesses, to the jurisdiction clause set out in the Sales Terms.
